יסודות Visual Studio Code והרחבת WPILib

Microsoft’s Visual Studio Code is the supported IDE for C++ and Java development using WPILib. This article introduces some of the basics of using Visual Studio Code and the WPILib extension.

The most important link to take a look at is probably the basic User Interface document. This document describes a lot of the basics of using the UI and provides the majority of the information you should need to get started using Visual Studio Code for WPILib.

לוח הפקודות

ניתן להשתמש בלוח הפקודות כדי לגשת או להפעיל כמעט כל פונקציה או פיצ׳ר ב-Visual Studio Code (כולל אלו מהרחבת WPILib). ניתן לגשת ללוח הפקודות מתפריט ”View“ או על ידי לחיצה על Ctrl+Shift+P (Cmd+Shift+P ב-macOS) הקלדת טקסט בחלון תצמצם באופן דינמי את החיפוש לפקודות רלוונטיות ותראה אותן בתפריט הנפתח.

WPILib Commands

The WPILib extension provides the WPILib specific functionality related to creating projects and project components, building, and downloading code to the Systemcore and more. You can access the WPILib commands one of two ways:

  • על ידי הקלדת ״WPILib״ בלוח הפקודות

  • על ידי לחיצה על סמל WPILib בפינה השמאלית העליונה. פעולה זו תפתח את לוח הפקודות של WPILib שהוזן מראש.

It is not recommended to install the Visual Studio IntelliCode plugin with the WPILib installation of VS Code as it is known to break IntelliSense in odd ways.

Configuring the extension

The extension offers some configuration for how certain actions are performed. To see all the settings in the extension, open the Command Palette, type in ”Open Settings (UI)“, hit Enter, and put @ext:wpilibsuite.vscode-wpilib into the search box.
